 This Add-On Service can be added to any of the above
listed Wedding Packages, or can be purchased as a “Stand
Alone” Service and includes Single Camera Video Coverage of
Rehearsal Dinner.
It is important to point out
that we are not there to film people EATING!!! The main reason
to film the Rehearsal Dinner is to capture all of the Toasts
and Speeches Honoring the Bride and Groom!!!
The
Rehearsal Dinner is the most Emotional event of the Wedding
Weekend! You will find that this event is filled with many
"Tears of Joy" that well-up as both Family and Friends deliver
their Special Toasts to the Bride and Groom while they
reminisce over Memories and past events.
So many
Heart-felt words are said, that it is a shame not to capture
them for all time! It is unfortunate to say that we hear
time and time again from Brides the next day at their Wedding
that they wished the Groom's Family had "Stepped-up to the
Plate" and filmed the Rehearsal Dinner the night before! They always say, "If I had just known how Wonderful and
Emotional all of the Toasts were going to be, I would have
hired you to film our Rehearsal Dinner myself!" Please use
the benefit of learning from other's mistakes and don't let
this Special Occasion slip by without having it captured for
all time on Video!
We start by filming your Guests
as they arrive, mingle and fellowship with each other. We
continue with shots of the tables and flowers, the servers as
they bring the food out to the tables, or if a Buffet Style
Dinner we get shots of the Buffet. As mentioned above, we
then turn the camera off when people are Eating! All of
this footage allows us to capture the Ambiance of the evening.
Then usually, a Childhood Photo Montage (another service of ours) is shown at the end of
Dinner, just after Desert is being finished and just after the
drinks have been topped off.
The Childhood Photo Montage takes all
of your Guests down "Memory Lane," just before the Toasts and
Speeches begin. Traditionally, the Best Man then stands up
after the Childhood Montage Movie is shown and gives the first
Toast, then he opens up the floor to others to Toast the Bride
and Groom. Usually, the Maid of Honor gives the next Toast and
then anything goes, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Bride's Dad,
sometimes the Mothers, Grand-Parents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins,
Life-Long Family Friends, School Mates, Colleges Buddies and
Co-workers all Toast the Bride and Groom. The Closing Toast
Traditionally is made by the Father of the Groom. Then the
Groom will Toast his Bride, as well as, he states how he looks
forward to his life together with his Bride, then he
usually "Thanks" everyone for coming out and for making it
such a Special Evening.
As you can see we are not
there to film people Eating! The Rehearsal Dinner is
certainly not about the food! It doesn't matter if you plan to
serve Bar-B-Que Buffet style, or a fancy seated Dinner of
Filet Mignon, the Guests are there to Honor and Toast the
Bride and Groom, while pouring out years of Love and
Admiration. Awesome Wedding DVDs is there to capture it all
for you to enjoy for years to come once this Whirlwind Weekend
is over! The Rehearsal Dinner makes a
Full-length Movie and comes with3 DVDs of your Finished
Video!
